Tell me what customers need to find
Describe your services, where you work and what a customer should understand before getting in touch. If you have a current site, include its address.
Discuss the right scope for the work
I review your brief and reply to discuss fit. If we move forward, we agree on the pages, features, price and schedule in writing before the build begins.
Before we get started
Already have a site?
Send the link and point out one thing visitors have trouble finding.
- A page that needs replacing
- Information that is hard to find
- A contact step that needs work
Still working out the pages?
Tell me what customers ask before they contact you. We can use those questions to plan the page order.
- Services customers compare
- Project examples they look for
- How they prefer to get in touch
Before we begin.
1. What does a standard website project include?
Up to five pages adapted from a suitable template, mobile layouts, an enquiry form and two consolidated revision rounds. Your written scope names the pages, content, form route, delivery date and any extra features. Booking, payment, account or other custom functions need a separate scope and schedule.
2. How long does the project take?
The written schedule sets a 14-calendar-day delivery period. It starts on the agreed kickoff date, once the required content and access are ready, and lists review checkpoints. If a late input, review or scope change affects timing, I’ll explain the impact and agree a revised date with you in writing.
3. What do you need from me before kickoff?
Before kickoff, I’ll list the business details, approved text or images and account access needed for the agreed pages. You confirm the facts and that you have permission to use the material you supply. The brief can include your current site, if you have one, and what visitors should understand or do.
4. How do revisions and extra changes work?
Two consolidated revision rounds are included. Send one combined set of changes in each round. Small changes to existing sections, such as moving or removing one, fit within those rounds. New pages, booking, payment, account features or other work beyond scope need a separate written price and schedule.
5. What does it cost, and when do I pay?
The price depends on the agreed pages and features. Before work starts, I send a written quote with the scope and total. Payment is split in two: 50% after you accept the scope and before kickoff, then 50% after you approve the final version and before launch. You pay for a domain and hosting in your own name.
6. Who owns the site, and what support follows launch?
The finished site, domain and hosting are in your name. After your written approval and final payment, I launch the site and hand over the source files and editing instructions. For 30 days after launch, I fix defects in the agreed build. Ongoing maintenance and updates are quoted separately.
